How Volunteers Help

Volunteers support the work of the Society by creating a valuable link between the community and the Society and by helping others understand the role of the Children’s Aid Society. They provide support to vulnerable children and their families and are an effective way to extend the work of the Society.

Volunteers assist by driving children in care and adult clients to appointments, and by participating in special projects such as the Giving Tree (Christmas Giving) or the Purple Ribbon Campaign (Prevention of Child Abuse).
